Manufactured by Bilstein exclusively for GTWORX using customized SPORT/TRACK valving matched to a new RCE YELLOW (330/330, 15mm drop) or BLACK (275/250, 25mm drop) performance spring.
GTWORX has filled the need for a capable HIGH PERFORMANCE damper for the 2008+ Subaru Impreza.
Observing the poor results of pairing lowering springs with the standard Subaru dampers, GTWORX decided to start from scratch and develop an entirely new spring and damper package in conjunction with the world renowned shock experts at Bilstein. This new set-up was designed from the ground up to pair with an all new ?Yellow? high performance spring from Racecomp Engineering. The goal was to transform the Impreza WRX into a precision handling machine. Extensive testing was conducted at Bilstein USA West headquarters in Poway, California to perfectly match the monotube, gas charged, inverted front struts and rear shock system with Racecomp Engineering springs. Several damping profiles were considered, with the final selection exceeding all expectations. An emphasis on low speed bump and gas pressure provide a platform to stabilize the chassis and is normally recognized as a reduction in initial body roll, pitch, and dive.
These dampers also provide an excellent option for stock class autocrossers looking for an OEM fitment damper that has firmer damping and large amount of gas pressure to pair with stock springs.
The rear shocks feature an adjustable CIRCLIP for + 5 mm, +10 mm or -5 mm, -10 mm rear ride height.
Designed for both WRX sedan and hatchback, these make your Impreza handle like it should from the factory!
This kit comes with either Racecomp Engineering Yellow "Sport" or Black "Regular Guy" springs which feature softer rates for additional comfort that some may want. Be sure to select the desired spring option.

To start with Vaughn Performance provided great customer service and quick response when the shocks were delayed by a couple days. On install, everything fit as good as stock and the build quality is very good. Initial impressions were just amazing with this combo. Handling was crisp and felt very well balanced. After a week of driving and letting things settle, I got my alignment. Note: you will need an alignment after install. Today I pushed the car on some very diverse roads. Straight line high speed, high speed sweepers, switchbacks, hills, uneven pavement...lets say it has it all for miles. The result is that this is the best purchase I have made to date for this car (2013 WRX). The ride is noticeable harsher but not unbearable. The car was very stable under hard braking and corner exits. The typical stock push is gone. Am I satisfied...put it this way, my wife did not believe the smile on my face was from the drive when I got home.
